Dry Block Heaters

Four models of the Ratek Dry Block Heater are offered from the single block analogue DBH10 to the three block digital DBH30D. The analogue models can control to 110ºC whilst the digital ones can be configured to control to 150ºC.

DBH10 Dry Block Heater

A compact block heater to accommodate one standard Ratek test tube block. The solid state proportional temperature control has a range of approx 28°C (ambient + 5°C) to 110°C with a stability of 0.1°C. Each block has provision for a reference thermometer to ensure precise temperature setting.

DBH20D Digital Dry Block Heater

A custom microprocessor controlled block heater to accommodate two standard Ratek test tube blocks or one 96 well microtitre plate block. The large LED display can show set temperature, actual temperature, plus over temperature alarm value. User interface is via front panel mounted key switches.

DBH30 Dry Block Heater

This heater can accommodate 3 standard Ratek test tube blocks, or 1 block for a 96 well microtitre plate plus a standard block. Temperature range is approx 28°C (ambient + 5°C) to 110°C with a stability of 0.1°C.

DBH30D Digital Dry Block Heater

A larger version of the DBH20D with identical microprocessor and heating functions. This heater can accommodate three standard Ratek test tube blocks, or one 96 well microtitre plate block plus one standard block.

Aluminium Blocks to Suit DBH Models

A range of standard blocks are available for use with DBH10, DBH20D, DBH30 & DBH30D, including blocks with tapered holes to suit 1.5ml and 0.5ml Eppendorf tubes. Blocks can be manufactured to order for most tubes and small flasks, to suit customer requirements.
